consultant/broker/agents prepared to assist clients in navigating the often
times confusing system, FREEMAN & SLY INSURANCE AGENCY formed
a separate company, CALIFORNIA CLAIMS ADVOCATES, in 1997.
While we offer our clients this advocacy as part of our services as
consultants, we recognized that there are circumstances where an employer
may wish to retain their current agent yet need these services. Now, clients
can contract with CALIFORNIA CLAIMS ADVOCATES for our services in
this area for a set fee and still retain their current agent or consultant.
Finally, advocacy takes the form of actively representing the client during the
renewal process. Sometimes this simply means putting the case out to bid.
But often it is more beneficial to the client to negotiate a fair renewal with the
existing provider, saving your client the valuable time and effort of an
unnecessary bidding process. We have 34 years of "field underwriting"
experience that we bring to our clients during their annual renewals. This
performance is why our clients’ retain FREEMAN & SLY INSURANCE
AGENCY year after year. In fact, our average client relationship is in excess
of 10 years; and in several cases we are in our fourth decade of
representation.
