yet their understanding of "full" is usually limited to working through the initial
sales process and thereafter soliciting the annual renewal of the business.

commitment which means we are available to handle clients’ needs and questions
throughout the year.
There are larger "brokerage" houses and "consulting firms" which promise better
service due to the size of their organization and a structure that provides "service
administrators" assigned to specific clients. Unfortunately, what seems to happen
most often is a high turnover rate at these positions. The best people "move up" to
sales positions and the less competent are replaced often. This leaves you, the
client, with the job of continually re-educating the people assigned to service your
account.
FREEMAN & SLY INSURANCE AGENCY has adopted two key principles to
ensure our commitment to our clients:
#1: We are available to take your calls!! We will not take on so many new clients
that we are unable to handle the needs of our current clients. Most of the time,
when you call, one of us will be in the office to assist you.
#2: Our definition of "full service" is complete!! We expect questions regarding
eligibility, billings, coverage, COBRA, HIPAA, claim problems, access to
providers/specialists (HMO problems), etc. In short, all aspects of providing
benefits to your employees is something that our office recognizes as part of our
responsibility as consultant/broker/agent.
After all, this is what servicing an employer sponsored plan is all about. This is
why agents are paid commissions on a monthly basis; you are already paying for
this service, whether you receive it or not from your existing
consultant/broker/agent!
